Materials and Packaging Information 

We use a range of high-quality materials, each carefully selected to suit your needs. Below is an overview of the materials we work with: 

ACRYLIC/Perspex 

All acrylics used for our cake toppers are tested and certified as food-safe. 

  • 2mm, 3mm, 6mm, and 10mm Food-Safe Clear Acrylic: transparent acrylic with a smooth, polished finish. 
  • 3mm Food-Safe Solid Colour Acrylic: Made in solid colours with a polished finish. 
  • 3mm Food-Safe Glitter Acrylic: Contains real glitter embedded within the acrylic, visible on all sides. Unlike paper or card, this glitter won’t rub off, ensuring long-lasting sparkle. 
  • 3mm Food-Safe Metallic Acrylic: Made in solid metallic colours for a polished, lustrous finish. 
  • 3mm Food-Safe Shimmer Acrylic: Features a pearlescent, swirling effect created through hand-mixing for unique patterns. 
  • 3mm Food-Safe Iridescent Acrylic: A vibrant material with stunning 3D depth that changes colour depending on how light hits it. 
  • 3mm Food-Safe Mirror Acrylic: High-reflective mirror finish on one side, with a solid dark grey backing. 
  • 3mm Food-Safe Matt Acrylic: Smooth matte finish on both sides for a modern aesthetic. 

WOOD/Veneered Products 

We use a variety of high-quality, sustainable wood materials: 

  • 4mm Birch Plywood: Lightweight with a natural wood finish. Shades may vary due to the nature of the wood. Sourced from eco-friendly, sustainable forests. 
  • 4mm & 6mm Oak Veneered MDF: Durable and attractive with a high-quality veneer. Low formaldehyde emissions. 
  • 4mm Cherry Veneered MDF: Features a rich wood grain for an elegant finish. Low formaldehyde emissions. 
  • 4mm & 6mm American Black Walnut Veneered MDF: premium wood with a dark, rich finish and low formaldehyde emissions. 

Packaging 

We take great care in packaging to ensure your products arrive safely and sustainably. 

  • Eco-Friendly Packaging: Where possible, we use recyclable or reusable materials. 
  • Loose Fill: Biodegradable packing material that dissolves in water—simply rinse in the sink rather than discarding it. 
  • Boxes: recyclable and reusable for minimal waste. 
  • Acid-Free Tissue Paper: Biodegradable and gentle on the environment. 
  • Recyclable Cello Bags: Fully recyclable, reducing plastic waste. 
  • FSC-Approved Paper: Used for printing orders and promotional cards, ensuring sustainability.
