Trim the wick to about 5mm before lighting—this helps it burn cleanly and evenly.

Never leave a candle unattended (always keep it in sight!).

Don’t let it burn for more than 2 hours at a time.

Keep an eye on it and don’t let it burn down past 1cm—safety first!

Place your candle on a heat-resistant surface, and keep it away from drafts, little ones, and pets.

When you're done, make sure the flame is fully out before leaving it.
